This spacious and unique lake-front home on Highland Lake in Andover, NH boasts stunning views and over 250 feet of gentle waterfront- perfect for year-round adventures! Spanning 3.5 acres, this spectacular property includes woodlands that create a park-like setting on the spring-fed Highland Lake, a hidden gem in the Lakes Region of NH.

Retreat to this serene lake experience, with six miles of pristine water perfect for sailing, paddle boarding, kayaking, water skiing, jet skiing, motor boating and more. With a scenic and peaceful shoreline and fantastic biking and walking trails skirting the lake, Highland Lake is ideal for nature-enthusiasts, hikers, fishermen or families craving relaxation along the lake’s shoreline.

Just steps outside the back door a large private dock grants the key to it all, providing direct access to all the lake has to offer.

This welcoming and thoughtfully appointed home is completely refurbished with ample space for everyone. It features a large eat-in kitchen, dining room, three full bathrooms, four bedrooms, spacious living room with a wood-burning fireplace, and stunning finished basement with kitchenette, boasting plenty of space for movie night, game night, or a game of ping pong.

On the main level the primary King sized bedroom, with full ensuite, provides privacy on one side of the home. Adjacent to the primary is the living room, that accesses the outdoor deck with multiple seating options for relaxing or dining outside. The deck has both an oversized gas grill and charcoal grill.

The other side of the home, through the eat-in kitchen, has two additional bedrooms. One room with a has a full over full bunk with twin trundle, and another has a twin day bed with trundle. Located across from the dining room, there is yet another bedroom that has a queen bed. A shared full bath in the hall for all to use.

For those seeking additional outdoor space, a large lawn for games and summer fun is just outside. The gazebo and large patio are perfect for enjoying cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, stargazing or catching fireflies. A short walk down the hill from the gazebo leads to the water's edge, where guests can enjoy a very shallow lake entry, ideal for swimming. If a sandy beach is preferred, the town beach is just a nine-minute walk down the rail trail.

During the winter season enjoy ice fishing on Highland Lake, downhill skiing at Mt. Sunapee and Ragged Mountain, as well as limitless opportunities for local snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.

The home is equipped with new central air conditioning and a whole home generator.

Unbelievable Ski Trip!

"My husband and I had such a great time staying at this beautiful property! The location was perfect, such an easy drive to Ragged Mountain for skiing, which made our trip so fun and convenient. The cottage itself was cozy and welcoming, and we especially loved relaxing by the warm fireplace in the evenings after a day on the slopes. It was the perfect spot to unwind, enjoy some time together, and take in the gorgeous surroundings. Overall, a really lovely stay, comfortable, scenic, and ideally located for outdoor escape and relaxation. We’d love to go back again!

"We really loved this place. The house is right on the lake. They have tons of lake toys including great kayaks. Fun towns are nearby but the house is isolated and quiet. The bedrooms are very nice. the house had been recently renovated. The kitchen is full, so making your own meals is easy. Great for a couple, great for a family. We LOVED it.

"We fell in love with this Highland Lake Home on a quiet, specious property. It was our first time in Andover, a town we had never heard of. The lake is so peaceful and the house is the kind of place where we kept saying " They thought of everything ". It was warm spacious, and packed of amenities that made our stay easy. Our family loved the home's lakefront dock and spent tons of time swimming, kayaking, and just being in the water. The rail trail right out front was a huge plus. It's was a quick, scenic walk to the town beach, where our two young grandchildren happily built sand castle. Evening were magical as we sat on the gazebo, enjoying the beautiful lake and mountain views while the kids enjoyed the fire pit and s'mores. It was such a wonderful gateaway. FIVE STARS, and we can't wait to come back to this AMAZING place as my grandchildren called the place.

"We had an absolutely incredible stay at this beautiful house in on Highland Lake. We were blown away by the peaceful setting and the stunning views of this private lake. Being directly on the water with our own boat dock was such a treat — morning coffee overlooking the lake and evening sunsets from the house were simply unforgettable. The lake has plenty of open space for water skiing, tubing and paddle boarding. There is also a great rail trail a few hundred feet from the property for hiking and biking. The home itself is beautifully renovated and well laid out with lots of common area space for the whole family. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, giving everyone plenty of room to relax and unwind with plenty of beds for a large group. The highlight for our family was the brand-new lower-level family room — it’s huge! The TV and games made it the perfect hangout spot after a day on the lake, and it was great having a space where everyone could gather together. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and clearly cared for with attention to detail. The combination of modern updates, lake-house charm, and incredible outdoor access made this one of our favorite vacation rentals ever. If you’re looking for a peaceful lakeside getaway with gorgeous views, direct water access, and plenty of space for family and friends, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!

Heavenly holiday on stunning lake

"This is an absolutely gorgeous house directly on the most beautiful lake imaginable. The photos simply cannot possibly capture how special it is. The house is large and spacious and equipped with everything you could need and want. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, a brilliantly equipped kitchen and loads of family and lounge space. The basement gamesroom was a huge hit with the teenagers! A beautiful large deck overlooking, literally steps away, from the GORGEOUS LAKE. We had never been Highland Lake and it isn't one of the "famous" lakes in this area. And all the better for it! We swam and kayaked and water-skied and wake boarded and explored the lake by boat and the many MANY teenagers and young (and not so young!) adults all absolutely loved our week. The lake was crystal clear and exactly the right temperature for swimming and water sports. Wonderful wildlife - we saw the local wild loon family! There are fabulous hiking and biking trails on the doorstep and wonderful farm shops selling fresh local produce nearby. We were a large group of family and friends and we all fitted in this wonderful house. The scenery is quite something - mountains and lakes and forests and no traffic or noise or hoards of tourists. The hosts had provided everything we needed for a super stay and the house was IMMACULATE. We really felt we had discovered a hidden gem and absolutely CANNOT wait to go back.

Luxurious lake view chalet in beautiful New Hampshire

"We were on a four week trip in the US from Ireland, and decided to spend one week in New Hampshire near a lake so our teenage sons could make the most of kayaking and water sports. The rest of our holiday comprised New York, Disneyland and touring other cities, so we wanted somewhere we could unwind and make the most of the countryside. Elisa's chalet was perfect, both in terms of the property and the stunning setting. The chalet is extremely spacious with a huge lower ground floor, a great area for kids and teenagers to hang out, play games and watch TV. There's equally a large kitchen and living room, plus a veranda for outdoor dining with a view over the most fabulous lake which is surrounded by a beautiful forest. The lake is perfect for kayaking, water skiing, wakeboarding and swimming, and helpfully the chalet has its own jetty and a whole bunch of kayaks to take out on the water. The kids had fun kayaking around the lake, pulling over to the shore and swinging out on to the lake from ropes dangling from a few of the trees. The lake is also perfect for long relaxing swims around the circumference of the lake. The property itself is also on a sizeable stretch of land with plenty of outdoor space for outdoor sports and in the evening, there is a firepit to sit around and enjoy marshmallows in the evening or enjoy a cocktail or two. It was simply the most amazing find, and so easy to get to the nearest town for provisions, which was only a 10 minute drive away. The chalet and its amazing setting, absolutely made our trip and created so many wonderful memories for us. I'd highly recommend Elisa's chalet. Its a real gem.

Stunning Lakeside Retreat

"What a joy to spend a week at this beautiful lakeside retreat. Waking up to the beautiful view, sipping tea on the deck, walking the beautiful rail-trail! You can do it all -- or nothing. The home is spacious and beautifully appointed, with space to all be together ... of, if you want, to send the kids to their own space to play a board game or cards. We enjoyed water sports and peaceful walking trails. Highly recommended if you want lots to do in a peaceful setting.

"We had the perfect winter getaway here, and it ended up being even better than we expected. The location was a huge plus per convenient to Ragged Mountain Resort, so we could spend the day skiing without worrying about a long drive back. The home felt private, peaceful, and really well cared for. It had that perfect balance of charm and comfort. After being out in the cold, walking into a warm space and lighting the fireplace made the nights feel extra special. We spent our evenings unwinding, talking, and just enjoying the quiet scenery around us.

PERFECTION! Everything you want in a lake house.

"This is a PERFECT lake house for a family or a couple. 1. You are RIGHT on the water. This makes water sports easy and makes dining on the porch deck just perfect. 2.The house is modern and huge. The well appointed kitchen is great for family meals, the interior dining room is large, and the outdoor deck is large. 3.The bedrooms are very comfortable. There is no "roughing it" in this house. 4.You are FAR from neighbors. Make all the noise you and your kids want. And on rainy days? Go to the converted basement with the huge TV and comfy couches. We really loved our stay.
