Winnipesaukee Bay Gulls

These bagels will make you feel like you got them from New York City without all the traffic. Great, homemade, fresh bagels are found at Winnipesaukee Bay Gulls, complete with “schmear.” You can get a variety of bagels sliced or not. You can also get various cream cheeses like olive, mixed vegetable, lox, maple walnut raisin, and a whole lot more! They also have breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches made with their delicious bagels.

While there is plenty of comfortable seating, you can pick up a dozen bagels with cream cheese and bring them back to your Lake Winnipesaukee vacation rental to surprise the whole group with fresh breakfast right when they wake up.

Sunshine and Pa’s

Sunshine and Pa’s got its name because the niece of one of the owners used to get woken up by her grandmother with a muffin and the words “Good morning, Sunshine.” So the niece started calling her grandmother Sunshine. The owners wanted to recreate the warm family atmosphere that Sunshine and her husband, Pa, created in their home.

Great breakfasts and lunches are served up at Sunshine and Pa’s. They have lots of different egg dishes and lots of eggs benedict plates. Try the Lobster benedict for a treat! There are also specials, scrambles, pancakes, and waffles. For lunch, you’ll find burgers, salads, wraps, and specialty sandwiches.

Located on Main St. in Meredith, NH, Sunshine and Pa’s serves a great breakfast near Lake Winnipesaukee. It’s at the top of Meredith Bay near the South of Lake Waukewan. You can dine in their cute dining room or get your breakfast to go.

The Union Diner

According to The Union Diner, friends don’t let friends eat bad food. And they consider themselves your friend. They serve all the diner classics, and they’ve invented a few new ones. They are proud to have been voted as having the best Bloody Marys in the region. They have a full liquor license and serve local craft beers as well

Try their Bacon Jam and Cheddar Cheese Omelet or Toasted Coconut French Toast for breakfast, and come to their fish fry on Friday evenings. They use the freshest ingredients for their food, the fish is hand-battered to order, and the prime rib is slow-cooked. You can taste the care that The Union Diner puts into their food.

Lydia’s Cafe

Lydia’s cafe is a tiny, charming place that serves breakfast and lunch. It’s right on the water on Main Street in Wolfboro. There is limited seating, but you can get your order to go and eat on the porch or head to the docks and enjoy your breakfast there. Also, to avoid the inevitable lines and wait, you could call your order in and then go pick it up.

Lydia’s is famous for their blueberry pancakes, which are light and fluffy and packed with blueberries. Another favorite is their burrito that’s packed with delicious ingredients. After having your breakfast, you can walk around Main St. Wolfboro, which is a charming little town.

Cup & Crumb

The Cup & Crumb in Moltonboro has great coffee, homemade sweets, and breakfast sandwiches. You can get your breakfast scones and muffins here, as well as pies, cheesecakes, and cookies. Recently re-opened after a change in management, this coffee shop was sorely missed by the community. The food is made fresh daily, so come early to get the best selection.

Mello Moose Coffee House

You’ll find the Mello Mouse Coffee House right on the side of Daniel Webster Highway in Meredith. There are tons of coffee choices here, made with Cafe Monte Alto coffee. You can also get tea drinks, hot chocolate, and kombucha. They even make their own English muffins!

Their breakfast sandwiches are made to order. If you aren’t sure where to start, try their breakfast specialty Mello Mouse sandwich with chorizo, egg, and cheddar cheese on their own English muffin.

You’ll find muffins, quiche, and more in their bakery case. They have vegan and gluten-free options as well. Fun little sayings are written on the coffee sleeves for you for a personalized touch to make you feel at home. They have sandwiches, quiche, crustless quiche, and wraps for lunch.

You can sit outside in a little sunroom eating area, or you can get your breakfast to go. Either way, your meal will be hot and delicious.

George’s Diner

The motto of George’s Diner is “Just good food,” and they live up to that motto every day. Open seven days a week, George’s Diner serves up large portions of fresh, simply prepared comfort food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You can get a hearty breakfast at Geroge’s with plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free. Right on Plymouth St. in Meredith, George’s offers indoor and outdoor dining as well as takeout.
